A good week, NOT a great week, but a buy week. The sum of all the deviations has been 329, 476, and now 543 – up 2 weeks in a row.
The number of funds I rate as a buy over the last 3 weeks has been 10, 91, and now 65.
In reviewing some of the market indicators:
SPY (S&P500 ETF) is 2% above its 50 day moving average,
QQQ (Nasdaq 100 ETF) is 1% above its 50 day moving average,
IWM (Russell 2000 ETF) is 3% above its 50 day moving average,
SPY and QQQ are above their 200 day moving average.
The sum of the deviations is positive.
A time to buy – Sum of all deviations is up 2 weeks in a row.
There seems to be a rotation out of gold and technology funds. This week, SBiotechnology was the 100th on my list so I replaced it. Additionally bond funds took a hit.

SGold has a price of 22.20, a sell price 23.42, a rank of 05, and is a sell. (ETF – GDX, GLD)
SSemiconductors has a price of 11.10, a sell price 10.55, a rank of 01 and is a hold. (ETF – XSD, SMH)
SConstructionandHousing has a price of 62.86, a sell price TBD, a rank of 02, and is a buy. (ETF – ITB, PKB)
